Orthopedic Technologies
We have all the necessary technologies to manufacture advanced orthopedic devices in clean room conditions. From high precision CNC machining, to laser technologies and specialized surface treatments, we have the means to manufacture cutting-edge devices, components and instruments precisely and efficiently.
CNC machining
CNC machining enables us to meet the complex and exacting demands of manufacturing orthopedic devices, components and instruments with precision and consistency. We can offer this technology at scale to support high production volumes.
We are equipped to perform high-quality turning, milling, and grinding, including Swiss turning for high-precision parts and precision milling for complex parts and mold making. We also have the machining capabilities to achieve complex flute and tip geometries.
Injection molding
Injection molding supports a diverse range of production processes. We offer in-house mold-making services and support both high-volume and low-volume serial manufacturing to accommodate projects of any scale. Our plastic injection clean rooms ensure the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
We specialize in complex part injection and offer metal and plastic overmolding to create advanced, multi-material products. Automation technology ensures that our injection molding processes are efficient and highly precise. Our comprehensive validation process guarantees consistent quality and compliance, including IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
Additive manufacturing
Whether for prototyping or serial manufacturing, our additive manufacturing technologies enable us to innovate at every stage of product development and manufacturing, supporting increased efficiency and advanced designs for intricate implants and instruments.
We have proprietary knowledge in testing raw materials and defining trabecular structures and are capable of additive manufacturing with metals and plastics. Our post-manufacturing processes further enhance the quality and functionality of your final products, ensuring that they meet rigorous industry standards.
Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM)
Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) enables us to create complex shapes and features in hard and delicate materials without causing stress or deformation. This makes EDM ideal for implant and instrument manufacturing and complex parts and assemblies.
EDM technology is also integral to our mold-making services. This technology’s high precision and capability to create complex geometries from a range of materials with excellent surface finishes make it perfectly suited to the production of innovative and high-quality molds.
Laser technology
We use laser technology to provide precision marking and welding. Welding with laser technology enables precise and highly secure connections and is effective at joining a wide range of materials, including dissimilar materials.
Precision laser marking is also available, allowing for precise, permanent labeling of metal parts with logos, serial numbers, barcodes, or data matrix codes, including radial and 3-D engravings.
Surface treatment
Surface treatments, including laser etching, heat treatments and inking, expand the range of possibilities we can offer to you for finishing and detailing your orthopedic devices and components, from barcodes and serial numbers to 3-D engravings and careful marking for functional indicators.
We offer advanced surface treatments, including electropolishing, high-volume electropolishing, anodizing , coating and various grinding techniques to achieve the right finish, regardless of the destination or function of the device or component.
Clean room manufacturing
Clean room manufacturing ensures that all components are manufactured and processed in a controlled environment to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and safety, including freedom from toxins and microorganisms and strict requirements for residual metallic particles.
We have specialized clean rooms for plastic injection, plastic and metal overmolding, and assembly, making us a strong link in your manufacturing process and supporting you in producing safety-compliant devices. Our complete Procedure Kits and single-use instruments and implants are prepared in these facilities in expertly designed, pre-validated, or tailor-made packaging.
