In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full-time CNC Lathe Operator to strengthen our team in Memphis, TN.

The CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for using a lathe machine to shape or form metal products ensuring precision and quality in the manufacturing process by following blueprints and performing necessary adjustments.


Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate lathe machines to perform various machining operations such as turning, boring, threading, facing, and grooving to produce precision metal parts
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications, including FDA good manufacturing practices and Elos quality requirements
• Troubleshoot and adjust the lathe machine to ensure proper operation
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances required for machining operations
• Use precision measuring instruments like optical character recognition, micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine product specifications.
• Load and unload materials in and out of the lathe machine
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned


Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving and math skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to lift 25 – 50 lbs


Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of lathe experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating a swiss lathe preferred
