About the role

As S&OP Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the establishment, governance, execution, and continuous improvement of the Sales & Operations Planning process across the Dental Division. Furthermore, you will support the global governance of the S&OP process streamlining the process of all the ELOS manufacturing sites. You will ensure common standards and structured collaboration between Commercial, Customer Service, Planning, Production, and Supply Chain – both globally and locally.

Short periods of travel activities in relation to global S&OP process is expected.

The role is central to supporting stable operations, high delivery performance, and the balance between service level, capacity, and inventory in a regulated and quality‑critical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Global S&OP process

  • Own and drive the global S&OP process for Elos Medtech
  • Ensure consistent and timely execution of the monthly S&OP cycle
  • Develop and maintain standards, planning principles, and governance
  • Create cross‑functional alignment across demand, supply, capacity, and inventory
  • Identify risks and imbalances and ensure timely escalation and follow‑up

Demand planning and forecasting

  • Overall responsibility for the global Dental forecast
  • Translate customer and commercial forecasts into a production‑loaded demand plan
  • Drive the forecasting process for both key customers and long‑tail customers
  • Ensure continuous improvement of statistical forecasting models
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Customer Service on forecast dialogue and sign‑off

System and tool ownership

  • Act as Product Owner for the forecasting and planning tool
  • Own configuration, forecast logic, and planning setup
  • Drive global rollout, adoption, and standardized use across sites
  • Ensure documentation, training, and structured knowledge sharing

Collaboration and continuous improvement

  • Manage key stakeholders related to the global and local S&OP processes
  • Support local dental sites in executing effective S&OP processes
  • Facilitate S&OP related meetings
  • Define, track, and report relevant S&OP KPIs
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives

What you bring

  • Proven experience with S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain planning
  • Strong commercial mindset with understanding of the planning processes
  • A relevant bachelor’s degree such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Production Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, capacity planning, inventory management, and replenishment
  • Experience with planning and forecasting systems (e.g. IBP, ERP, or similar)
  • Ability to translate commercial forecasts into realistic and actionable production plans
  • Experience driving standardized processes across multiple sites
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English (Danish is an advantage)
