For the past three years, Sofie Höchstetter has been a dynamic team player at Elos Medtech, starting in a quality management role and progressing to her present position as Vice President Sterile Solutions at Elos Life Science business unit. Sofie’s journey showcases dedication, a forward-thinking mindset and a huge desire to progress collaboratively.
Career Evolution: From Quality Management to Vice President
Sofie began her journey with Elos in 2021 as Quality Management Representative of then company puracon in Rosenheim, Germany, today Elos Medtech’s Life Science unit. Her exceptional skills and dedication quickly earned her a leadership role, allowing her to support another site as Team Lead after just one year. Now, Sofie is back in Rosenheim, where she brings her production engineering expertise to her role as Vice President.
Embracing Change and Growth
Sofie’s tenure at Elos Medtech has been marked by constant evolution and dynamic changes. She appreciates the ability to remain agile and personally connected despite the size of Elos, noting:

Despite puracon being a relatively small company within the Elos Medtech group, she finds it rewarding to make a significant impact by providing packaging and sterilising products, which ultimately improve the lives of customers.
“Our work is the last step of a long journey, and it’s vital. The rewarding part of working in our industry is being able to help people get a second chance through restored mobility,” she says.
