Recent investments at two of our sites show what that looks like in practice.
At our Skara site, quality and engineering specialists use CT scanning to analyze components more quickly. A single scan captures the complete part, rather than requiring our team to measure each feature individually. For complex geometries and materials, this gives them the information they need for validation and development sooner.
At our Pforzheim site, new metrology capabilities have made inspection more efficient and flexible. Teams now spend less time on calibration and qualification, leaving more capacity for value-added work and helping them adapt when priorities change.
Neither was driven by a customer request for a specific technology. They were a response to a changing market.
Keeping pace requires us to further develop our infrastructure, improve our processes and strengthen our teams’ expertise.
